Terms of Service
Last updated: 27 October 2026. Tilltrend is pre-launch.
These terms govern your use of Tilltrend. They're written in plain language on purpose: a product whose pitch is "numbers you can verify" shouldn't hide its terms in fine print.
1. Acceptance
By installing or using Tilltrend, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you're using Tilltrend on behalf of a business, you confirm you're authorized to accept these terms for it.
2. What Tilltrend is
Tilltrend provides governed analytics for your Shopify store: dashboards, an Ask agent that answers questions with a replayable receipt for every number, and data exports you can open in spreadsheets and BI tools. Insights are provided for information and decision support.
3. Eligibility & your account
You need a Shopify store and the authority to connect it. You're responsible for keeping your access to the store and to Tilltrend secure.
4. Subscriptions & billing
Paid plans are billed through Shopify's Billing API: we do not take payment off-platform and never see your card details. The current plans, prices, and any free trial are shown to you at install/subscribe time. Subscriptions renew each billing period until you cancel, which you can do at any time through Shopify; access continues until the end of the paid period.
Founding Merchant program
Merchants accepted into the Founding Merchant program receive the Pro plan at a fixed price of US$19/month for 24 months from the start of their paid subscription. That price is guaranteed for the full 24 months and will be honored by Tilltrend and any successor entity that operates the service. It is a fixed price for a defined period, not a lifetime rate, and after the 24 months the then-current Pro price applies. The program changes nothing else in these terms: trial, cancellation, and data rights are the same as for every merchant.
5. Your data, the roles, and the license you grant
You own your store data. For the personal data inside your store, data-protection law assigns clear roles: you are the controller and the person who operates Tilltrend is the processor acting on your behalf. The app itself is not the processor; the operator is. The details of how we process that personal data are set out in a Data Processing Agreement (DPA), which binds the controller and the processor and governs personal-data processing alongside these terms and the Privacy Policy.
You grant Tilltrend a limited license to access and process your store data solely to provide the service, as described in the Privacy Policy and the DPA. We don't sell it and we don't use one merchant's data to serve another.
6. Acceptable use
- Don't use Tilltrend to break the law or to violate Shopify's terms.
- Don't reverse-engineer, resell, or sublicense the service without our written permission.
- Don't attempt to access data that isn't yours or to disrupt the service.
7. Intellectual property & ownership
The Tilltrend software, its content, and its names, logos, and marks are owned by the operator, Vladimir Vukojičić, or its licensors, to the extent those works are protectable. Some parts of the software, content, or marks were produced with AI assistance, and the scope of intellectual-property protection for AI-assisted work is not settled in every jurisdiction; this clause claims ownership only to the extent the law grants it. Subject to these terms, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service for your own business during your subscription term. That license ends when your subscription ends. You may not reverse-engineer, resell, or sublicense the service, and nothing in these terms transfers any ownership of the software or marks to you. Your store data remains yours, as set out in section 5.
8. Accuracy & honest limits
Tilltrend computes figures from your store data using governed definitions, and every number carries a receipt so you can check it. Some honest limits travel with those numbers: revenue is gross unless your data provides refunds or cancellations; metrics that need a field your store doesn't collect (for example, customer age) are reported as unknown rather than guessed. Tilltrend's output is information, not financial, tax, or legal advice; you decide how to act on it.
9. Availability
Tilltrend is pre-launch and provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We don't yet offer an uptime guarantee, and features may change as the product matures (the changelog tracks every change). We make no warranty of non-infringement and no other warranties, express or implied, except those that cannot be excluded by law; this is subject to the limitation of liability in section 10.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tilltrend is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim.
11. Termination
You can stop using Tilltrend and uninstall at any time. We may suspend or end access for a breach of these terms or to protect the service. On uninstall, we deprovision your tenant and delete the warehouse built from your store; deletion or return of personal data on termination follows the DPA.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; we'll post changes here and update the date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Serbia, and the courts of Belgrade have exclusive jurisdiction.
